Entries this day: Arest Bugzilla Yoga cow-go Arest 11:33am JST Saturday 16 January 2010 (day 14542) I had a nice rest last night; slept fine for 7+ hours. Soness, who wanted to be up at 7:30am, hadn't gotten up by 10am, so I went upstairs to check on her. She was like, "I couldn't sleep at all last night.." cause she's been so worried about income and stuff. I'm like, "oh mate, you can always come downstairs." As I left today (for yoga), I was like, "dood; though we have no formal commitment, you have my resources; you'll be fine for a couple months if you need." She was happy to hear that. permalinkBugzilla 12:26pm JST Saturday 16 January 2010 (day 14542) After clicking "One Click Install" to install Trac on my site, I found a simple glance at the instructions didn't complete the installation and setup. So I'm going to try installing Bugzilla on my site, and if dat don't work, Redmine. I'm hoping I can configure bugz.robnugen.com/directory to use the same Bugzilla installation to run project "directory" The first directory may be "python_journal" (sniff) Nice knowin' ya, Trac. permalinkYoga 10:52pm JST Saturday 16 January 2010 (day 14542) Fun time at Yoga today, with lots of treats, both before and after class. I think it's about time I start paying for a new set of lessons. This time I chose the spot near the window, and John was in the middle, with Emiko next to the book shelf. Paola asked if I wanted a snack or something before class, and I was like, "sure!" cause I hadn't yet consumed anything. She made tea and gave us some of the incredible flakey coconut treats from her supplier in India. Wow so so amazing!! The most difficult yoga poses for me today involved arm strength, like holding my arms straight out and holding my head slightly off the ground while upside down on my elbows. Tough stuff! After class, more treats, including the flakey coconut stuff, some ほしがき, and something another student made, plus more tea. So so yummy!! permalinkcow go 10:58pm JST Saturday 16 January 2010 (day 14542) Cow-Go international night at The Pink Cow featured a full house. Emiko and I were there from like 5:30pm, when Lina and Stephanie started their French lesson. Lina looked so happy afterward, so I'm reallly glad about that. Steph had to jet off to work starting at 7pm, but Lina stayed and joined Emiko and I, who had already been joined by 服部チルド who met me on mondaiji.com a few days ago. She didn't speak a whole lot of English, but she told me she liked my paintings, and that they were very "outside art" which is apparently a Japanese-English phrase. I'm guessing it basically means "out of the box" or "not mainstream" .. I also met Boomer (new Pink Cow employee), Kenya, Naoki, Jimmy, Masae, Sachi, Naoko, Naoko, Tomoko, Tomoko, Yumi, etc, etc. Tomoko and I became friends on Facebook, and she recommended a cute little game on iPhone called Rocket Bird. It's cute and free. Left with her and Yumi, and walked right out of The Pink Cow (instead of left) and then said bye to them with a hug each at the main street between Omote Sando and Shibuya. During Slang Bingo, I chatted with Greg and Andy from ultimate, who, like me, haven't really been to ultimate recently, but talked about going. permalinkprev day next day |
