Chat with Soness

Soness told me that Daniel's name popped up on her wall (or something) in Facebook. (He's her ex husband who conned her out of $30,000 while cheating on her with multiple women, ended up taking her job, and, so far, has gotten away skot free. (I'm using "skot" instead of "scot" because he did end up having to pay her some money in their divorce settlement.))

Lucky ticket

Got to the train station at like 8:41am for my train at 8:44am, but the ticket machine stops vending tickets for this train at 8:39am (I think). I went down to the platform as the train was arriving, wondering if I could show one of my old tickets to the guy (he barely looks at them) and get on (likely), or pay him 500 yen to let me on (unlikely). Once I got there, though, an extra door was open on the train, into which a few people were ducking, so I got on too!

I don't mean "duck" like it was a short door to some mysterious part of the train, but sorta sneaking on version of "duck." Seems strange that this trivially easy way to "beat the system" exists for this train, but it might. Also, we haven't reach Shinagawa yet, so it's conceivable that this particular train car/section will be checked by a conductor while in route (unlikely).

Got two things finished at work today, not including watching a video on how the illuminati are planning to wipe 50% of the population in a few years (but won't succeed before planet x blasts the planet to stone ages), and not including calling Paola to make sure it's okay to invite Soness to the yoga retreat next weekend and telling Soness it was cool after Paola told me it was cool and Soness saying, "too late; I already booked a trip to go snow boarding!"

Oh, so yeah, made a new table based on another table and nearly finished the management page for it, based on the corresponding management page of the corresponding table. Actually about 8 new files required for the whole thing..

Went to chat with Traci at The Pink Cow and learned her new plans for Cow-Go. Cool! So it's lookin' like it could get a good influx of estudiantes.

Also Mallory asked if I wanted to "get on the massage train?" meaning give her a massage while she was massaging Moonie. I'm always up for giving a massage so I pressed on her shoulders a bit while she was like, "oh awesome" and then switched to reiki and she was like, "I can feel you're doing something," and "it's like a tingling in my shoulder." Nice.
