Lazy morning

Chatted with Anna Bananna this morning after sleeping in. I had a bit of a dream that I can't quite recall now. I may start writing them down again.

I meditated as per usual, but this time while sitting in the corner that Soness specifically set up for meditation. I don't know that it was any easier to be meditative there, but it certainly wasn't any more difficult.

Left home around noon thirty and got to the office at 1:45 to clean out my desk. But first I played online, trying to learn git a bit. I had downloaded lilURL from sourceforge, and made some updates. Wanted to upload those to github, but (fortunately) had the brainstorm that perhaps, just perhaps, someone had already uploaded it there. And someone had. I forked gbremer's copy of lilURL to thunderrabbit's copy of lilURL, and then did something like the following:

$ git clone git@github.com:thunderrabbit/lilurl.git

But I kept getting publickey denied errors (or something), and then I realized I needed to generate a public key on my server.

Did that, told github the public key part, and the clone worked perfectly.

$ git clone git@github.com:thunderrabbit/lilurl.git

Made my changes, (actually they were already made in a different folder, so I just copied them over) and then did

$ git add *

In the /trunk directory to add all the files.

Then

$ git commit

And that was it! (*)

emiko lesson

Emiko was ten minutes late for our 7:30 8pm lesson, but unfortunately, to make my train, I had to leave at 9pm. She was like, "no worries," because, well, she was late, and I had finished checking all her homework anyway. Plus we hang out a lot so she certainly gets 10 minutes' worth of English with me on a regular basis.

Right *now* I am on my way home (with a boquet of flowers!!) after cleaning out my desk at work for a temporary 3 month absence while I attend massage school in Thailand. Actually 4 months while I chill in Chigs during April and then go to Thailand... Super thanks to Anna Bananna who found perfect tickets for me on ebooking.com (I think that's the URL) for like 587 British pounds. Dat's a lot better than what Number 1 Travel quoted at 150,000 yen.

Also right now, I have no other journal entries for today or the previous two days except for zzzzz on Monday. I'm going to try to catch up a bit now.

D'oh!! I was too slow getting off the train in Chigasaki, and the doors closed before I could get off. I forgot I had to get my big bag out of the overhead bin. hahhahahhaa!!

So now I'm headed to the next station, which I think is actually the next next station. But no extra charge, and no worries.
