Entries this day: Dream_truth Finished_first_week Plans christine_chat Dream truth 6:06am ICT Friday 14 May 2010 (day 14660) Back in houston, I heard about a plan for the mayor and a few high ranking officials to pull off a public stuent of detonating some smoke bombs in a public event with tons of cameras to get public exposure that would make them go to ail and this would somehoe bring people's awareness to get some truth around world trade center destruction. As I was hearing about the plot, I wa pised at the government and trying to break down th door to the white house office doing flying karate kicks at it, but no response. So I went to the big sideglass dors and I bent one to shatter it, but it just bent. Fair enough, it was noticibly torqued so they'd have to repair it. My defense was going to be, this costs nothing compared to all the bombs you're detonating in Afhanistan in your illegal war. permalinkFinished first week 7:39pm ICT Friday 14 May 2010 (day 14660) (to be transferred from my iPhone. Summary below:) finished first week of classes. Shara and I were going to go to dinner after having hung out with Christine at the pool. Shara didn't show up where we said we'd meet, though I waited an hour. I bought some nice pics and some raw honey, though. written on my iPhone via Notes 19:39pm Friday 14 May 2010 Today finishes the first week of classes for us at Sunshine Massage School. For the hour+ practice massage at the end of today and the end of yesterday, I partnered with Shara, taking particular care of her lower back, which features a pinched nerve from an old injury. Shara joined Christine and I at the pool today, and I enjoyed sitting on the side with them in the water. Shara had put her legs up on the side to do some water assisted sit-ups, so I hopped out to hold her feet down. Christine did the same, but not where I could easily reach her, so I didn't. Hmmm We discussed plans for tonight; Christine had been all talking about doing to the White Rose, which has a public sauna every other Friday night where people apparently go to meet other people and give each other body scrubs. Really??? Wow, but I wanted her to go and verify this claim before I went. Shara was like let's go! (to White Rose) but also like, but first let's go get some food. I was down for food, and then Christine was all, actually I don't want to go tonight after all. So Shara and I are going to eat dinner and then she's going to meet some friends after that. I told Christine there's no chance I'm going out with Shara's friends tonight. Well okay maybe 2 percent chance, but it's really rally unlikely. We decided to meet at 7:30 at Starbucks in the night market. I've been here since 7:22, but no sign of her yet. It's 7:50 by my clock now. - - - - On the way here, I found a shop that sells honey. Christine and I had just been talking about nutrition (mostly she talked, and I went wow!) and she said raw honey is better for us, and explained the difference between raw and processed honey. So anyway I bought some raw honey for 200 Baht. Walled a bit further and saw a photo that caught my attention. It was of a baby elephant enjoying a good shower, and I was like that's so cute! Then saw a couple others I liked and bought three photos. Nice. Kinda weird cause I never buy photos. I mean seriously, I think this is the first time I've bought any, except when with a significant female other.permalink Plans 8:00pm ICT Friday 14 May 2010 (day 14660) (to be transferred from my iPhone; summary below:) Planning to read and work on my website this weekend. Other than Honkers next weekend, and Koh Phi Phi for the week after that, I'll be in massage school every week, save for two weeks off in early July. 20:00 Friday 14 May 2010 Plans for this weekend include asking Alfonzo for some code, reading (Course of Miracles), swimming, practicing massage at the school on Saturday, possibly installing PHPList on my webserver, etc. Yes, I came to Thailand to work on my website. Plans for next several weeks include: One week to finish beginner course Weekend in Honkers Week in Koh Phi Phi Two weeks beginner course again Two weeks beginner course again One week advanced course Two weeks off (*) One week advanced course One week advanced course One week free Go home to Chez Soness (*) during the two weeks off, I'm considering doing a ten day Vipassana course, partially to keep myself out of trouble, and partially for the low price. I've heard about a couple of things that have piqued my interest: going to The Dam, which features a floating hotel and pristine beauty Umm maybe that's it.permalink christine chat 9:30pm ICT Friday 14 May 2010 (day 14660) I bought some bananas on the way back, and just as I entered the Imm Eco driveway, I saw Christine on the way out. I tempted her with "I got you something!" and she came inside with me, and we sat in my "hot" room. (I haven't turned on the A/C since arrival, of course.) She was like, "so what did you have?" "Ah, I had a strawberry frappacino, and um... hmm I can't remember..." "Oh, did you eat at Starbucks???" she asked with surprise, cause we had planned to eat at the nice riverside restaurant (where Christine and I had gone before). "No, um..." I paused for mock dramatic effect, "oh, that's right, she didn't show up!" Christine's eyes widened like, "interesting!" "Yeah; and she's the one who said 'I'll be there at 7:30,' twice, so... I didn't even call her." Inside, I answered Christine's question about why I didn't call Shara, "did you not call her out of pride?" "Mmmmmm. naw, it's partially from my men's group; we would call calling her 'caretaking.' She's an adult; I'm an adult; I'm not going to take care of her, like 'don't forget, it's 7:30!' If she didn't show up, she had her own reasons, and I understand that. The other reason may be about what you were saying... something like, we said 7:30 at Starbucks and I planned to go to dinner and not anywhere else, so I wasn't going to call her and have her be all, 'oh why don't we go to the blah blah blah instead?' Nope; I'm not willing to go follow her around town." Conversation turned to fruit and health as we had a banana each and then used my マイハシ to have a bite of raw honey each. Yummmm. Christine went to go get some water, and I just went over to see if she had any interesting stamps in her passport. "No; I usually end up getting a new passport each time." I guess she's not coming back over for more chatting, but I left my door ajar just in case. 12:09am ICT Saturday 15 May 2010 (day 14661) Christine didn't come back and I just woke up with my light on and the door wide open. I'm pretty sure no one but the wind even walked by in the hall, much less came in. permalink |
