Before Class

I've really been enjoying Assessment and Treatment with Trayl at Sunshine. I'd like it to continue for another week, I think. Trayl knows a lot.

I'm here early to meet Air for a bit to help her prepare for the test. Trayl speaks quickly, has been using lots of terminology, and pronounces words inconsistently. Sometimes "masSAGE" and sometimes "MAssage." I can see that's hard for Air to pick up the finer bits.

buuuttttt, apparently I'm a bit more interested in helping (?) her than she is in my help. We were supposed to meet 7 minutes ago, but Air isn't here yet.

Finished five weeks

I've just finished five consecutive weeks of classes at Sunshine Massage School, four weeks = the two-week beginner class twice (with Air as the teacher), and just now finished Trayl's Assessment and Treatment class, which I'd like to take again.

Zen, who also took this class with Trayl, said he'll change his yoga classes as a result of this class, and I'll definitely be looking more carefully for the actual causes of chronic pain instead of just treating the pain temporarily.

Air ______ed (*) the class, so didn't get a certificate. She learned a lot of terminology, I'm sure.

(*) what's the verb that means attend a class, but not for credit?

Across the hall, Shawn, Shane, Ellie and two other women have finished the beginner class with Dot as their teacher.

Going to Phi Phi

But first, I'll be taking two weeks off from the school (because they have no advanced classes scheduled for these two weeks), and go down to Koh Phi Phi to see my friend Paige from PB! She's a dive master teacher, has looked up my diver's license, and said she'll be happy to descend slowly while I let my ears pop at their rate.

Last Sinchai class

But first, I've got my last two hours with Sinchai. I just want to get the certificate, but I don't realllly think I'll use many of the techniques I've learned here.

Chillin' tomorrow, and then on Sunday several of us from Sunshine (Shawn, Shane, me, Air, possibly Zen, maybe others from Dot's class) are going to Chiang Dao Cave and then some waterfalls. Whoooo!
