Just left Chiang Dow Cave; we're a posse of ten peeps, plus U-Cow and Johnny. I got a picture of Johnny above "abj.fly2.nu" drawn in the muddy wall in a tube with a foot of water on the bottom.

Good times at the dam. It would certainly be fun to stay overnight, but we're heading home now. Had lots of fun swimming, eating, climbing, jumping, cowing, and videoing some of our antics, plus antics of some kids in the next group over.

Marie, from France, but distinct from each Marie in my recent beginner level class, loves to climb. She was climbing various structures in the cave, and tried valiantly to climb two trees about 50 meters from the houseboat we had selected. She said she couldn't, due to pain (in her legs?). Two years ago, a rock broke and she fell 300 meters while climbing, and used her arms to drag herself (including two shattered lower legs) for three days to help. Her partner was stuck up on the mountain until help returned. Nice.

I saw her scars. Wow.

New apartment

Air helped me find a new place to live; my rent at ImmEco comes due soon, and rather than pay for the teeny room for another month, (and not live in it for a week of that while I'm in Koh Phi Phi visiting Paige,) I've got a new WAY bigger room with free internets, private loo+shower, and no pool and no free breakfast.

So tomorrow and perhaps each day until my ImmEco lease runs out, I'll go chill at their pool after having breakfast.

Internet connection doesn't work yet, though they've got four servers(?) downstairs. (I think they must just have my line turned off. (??))
