Dream

9:08am JST Thursday 2 September 2010 (day 14771)

Our cars were parked slightly misa lightned and a car came up and tried to squeeze in betwen them, pushing one car forwrd adn scraping against the side of the wall and then slipping past and parking in the driveway. It was Brandon, and I ran up to catch him and flipped his car over in anger and demanded he got out. He was only a little kid and I realized this anger was the wrong way to handle him. My fathr had just arrived, and I was like, Brandon, I'm going to let my father be the judge; he will treat you fairly," and my dad come inp was saying to someone, "it looks like there is a little problem, but not too bad; we can handle this." and I aid to him, "Dad; I made a mistake in handling this, and I wonder if you can help." He said yes, and I let Brandon go and Brandom promplty tried to escape, by saying, I will go look for a chair to sit down. I watched him carefully and then when he tried to run away, I ran after him to catch him. He misjudged the sandy hill headed down to the street and tumbled down in and I jumped down the entire hill and was upon him before he could even realize how he had ripped. I said, "what happened?" knowing full well what had happened, and he ssaid, "I fell," and I agreed. I took him back up the hill and sat him down next to me. Brandon, this is my father, and I love him very much. I am Rob and my dad loves me very much." I thought of my next line, "10 years ago, we used to fight a lot," but I woke up before I could say it.

Kathy Fey

2:39pm JST Thursday 2 September 2010 (day 14771)

I contacted Kathy Fey to tell her the latest haps:

Just letting you know that after my trip to Thailand, I've been offering healing massages to my
friends and other people for money. Thank you for being an inspiration for me!

  Love and Light
   - Rob

And she replied

It's always nice to know you've been a positive influence in someone's life! Glad to hear you've
begun a new world. I believe I was around your age when I made the same choice. I encourage you to
let go of results - be there for your clients. After 19 years I still love my chosen profession.

Love, Light and Lots of Laughter,
Kathy

Nice.

And then I was all

Yay!

I'm glad to hear I've not waited too long.

I hear your advice about releasing the results. I will do my best each time. :-)

Thread

1:16pm JST Thursday 2 September 2010 (day 14771)

Just capturing this thread to show what I've been doing..

I don't honestly remember what goals I said, but I have been working on promoting myself... I have
written to several of my acquaintances who put on networking events and parties, offering my massage
services as part of their events. This approach allows me to see lots of people pretty easily, and
not have to approach businesses wearing suit and tie to get in the door.

Also have finished a sign for my 500yen / ten minute massages at The Pink Cow once a month, and the
English version of a page that introduces my services. Will send it off to be translated today.

How are your projects? (I know you're typing with cell phone, so you can just reply telepathically
if that's easier.) Or how about we meet next week or the next? For massage or just lunch is fine
with me.

blessings

Dave had written this to our group list:

OMG. I didn't bring any of my business cards tonight. I'm out in Shibuya hanging out with Nate and about to go see Akiko.. I brought Johnny and U-Cow, but didn't bring any biznass cards. D'oh!

Nate was asking some good questions about Chairapy. He's purty smrt about this business stuff.

Here in Kinko's I just met the owner of Geronimo Shot Bar in Roppongi. Didn't exchange info, given my obtuse error above, but good 2 minute chat.

9:02pm JST Thursday 2 September 2010 (day 14771)

Here at TGI Fridays in Shinagawa, Akiko and I (mostly Akiko) have been poring over the translation of my flyer-thingy for The Pink Cow Body Works nights. I got another translation from Nate, but she thinks it's a bit too formal for the tone I'm trying to set. He said as much, so I'm not surprised. He goes, "it's correct Japanese, but it probably doesn't suit your event."

We're full, bu,bu,buuttt, Akiko gave me a postcard for Fred, made of rubber, shaped like fried ham and egg! Delicious!

Yay Akiko!
