I repaired the fence around the garden today here at Chez Soness. A recent windy night (typhoon?) messed it up a bit, but I got it sorted with some twine.

Trying to find a library in Python to store files on Amazon S3. There don't seem to be many, and I don't see a clear winner in terms of community support.

Not David Mashiko, but David from my I-group. I met him at The Pink Cow for his bye-bye party tacked on to his friend's birthday party. Good to see him, and also Gemma, who I randomly see around Tokyo (and always remember her name for some reason), and chatted with David, and Don Morton, and Sachiko (from Yoga) and Lin once she arrived.

Tonight was stand-up comedy night (Mad Cow's Big Night Out, a monthly event at The Pink Cow). I left right after Peter, whose set was after Jazz, who was after Nathan, who was after someone else I forgot.

Went to Gamuso in Asagaya to massage Sorcha tonight. Nice. She and Daniel had a rockin' set after the guy with a one string guitar, which he said is called a diddly bow (sp) ("not a Bo Diddly?" asked Sorcha).

I had to leave for last train, at which time I responded to Soness to edit her blog entry (she's writing one each day this month), and... . .... . ..

Got on the train going the wrong direction, so now I've missed last train.

Will meet Lin soon in Shibuya.

I'm like, "um, where are we going?" as we missed the exit for Kawasaki. I thought it would be best for her if we sleep there. She intends to drive me to Chigasaki!!

Just stopped in a McDonald's for a snack to help her sleep. French fries and tea for her. The rest of her french fries and strawberry shake for me.

We stopped by 7/11 near Chez Soness and I bought Lin two 元気 drinks. I so totally want her to get home safely. She refused to let me pay for a hotel for the night.
