Lovely to see Lin last night; while she cooked cheesey potatoes, I got Python 2.7.1 installed, setuptools installed, Mysql-python installed, and django 1.2.4 installed, but Django refused to use the new version of Python.

Thank goodness for stackoverflow, cause I got the answer immediately! It was an easy change to Passenger WSGI

Lin and I barked and barked, and ママ was like, "you guys are crazy; go to sleep!!" We were quiet after that, but didn't sleep for a while. Too hard to sleep at 10pm, when I usually sleep at 2am.

I reallly like Lin. Most def.

OMg so annoying

OM is so annoying. I mean, I know my primary job here is to do my job, but during the downtime, we've got ye olde internettef, right? Not right now. For some reason, partially because he has no idea what's what, he's like, "why don't you just unplug the white boxes so we can start from scratch when we start, and that way it's fresh."

Hanging out with Sachiko for the last hour here at Outback Steakhouse in Shibuya, we've been talking about relationships, the bleach-blonde waitress's hair, Lin, the art museum Sachiko visited today, my art that I still haven't uploaded, the all male Japanese group who got three Bloomin' Onions (deep fried onion sliced like a flower), and how most people she knows are Mac users.

Yay! Lin just arrived! She was stuck at work waiting for NTT to install wiring at her client's house.
