Been working on a piece since yesterday that I think I'll name because of its circles. There are several squiggly lines and then 21 sets of concentric circles drawn behind the lines, with the increasingly larger circles eventually talking to the other circles, but again, (mostly) with no colors overlapping already drawn colors.

God came to the door in the form of two women pimping watchtower.org. I explained my beliefs were incompatible with the concept of a god with human attributes of ego and emotions, except maybe love, depending on what that means.

I didn't get so far as to describe epp or ipote, but started with the billboard I saw ("LOVE DOES NOT TALLY THE FAULTS OF OTHERS" (or something like that)), then talked about past lives and buddha consciousness + enlightenment, plus a brief version of my grandmother speech.

The more talkative of the pair was pretty well able to ask good questions, but still, for some reason, didn't sway me to join their ranks.

I assured them I don't think god is a long beard guy taking notes, and she asked me what I thought god was. "Well, a couple of years ago, I used to think that god was god and thought 'I wonder what it's like to need something,' so he made us so we could play a game of forgetting that we are actually god, and believe that we need to stay inside the bodies to live. Eventually the body dies and the spirit goes back to god and says 'wow that was really weird!' and god says thanks for checking it out for me." Then, "But now I realize that that couldn't be because it would have said god had a need / want to know what something was like, which goes against my belief that god has no needs. So, I am thinking god is simply consciousness," and went on to describe the author of Eat Pray Love saying that when she experienced ______ for a bit, it was like "sitting in the palm of God" and "completely natural" (I think that's a pretty close quote.)

They left with all their pamphlets.

Hiro o

I'm meeting Cyrus in Hiro-o to audition for a one day video shooting to be a big brother for some younger kids. The audition will get me the part for at least a day of shooting and 60,000 yen compensation. yay!!

My hobbies are painting, dancing, and rock hopping on the beach!

It was fun and easy overall. I got to audition with Bob Whorley (sp), who I know from comedy nights at The Pink Cow. We had to jog in place, and then get tired and ask the other to wait. Then switch roles.

Today Lin and I ate at Jonathan's near the home center close to Minato Mirai.

I joke-explained at one point that she wasn't so simple, and she said mmmm maybe not. Everyone thinks they are simple because they are in their own head, but actually being simple may not be true.

At one point in the restaurant, she was like, "I'm worried that you need more time to be sure you want to stay with me," and at first I bought into that, thinking maybe I do need more time; oh man what do I say now??? and she was like, "I want you to say 'fuck are you talkin about???'" but I couldn't at first, or even at second, but

I realized that I am sure I want to stay with her, and I layed out the reasons: I have had a million girlfriends, and I ain't found one more perfectly matched than you in age/communication/sex/temprament/skills/skillz and, though I hate with girls say "oh snap I'm 30," I'm 41, and I'm ready to stop jerking around in relationships.

And, I added, "don't ever ask me that again. I am not going to break up with you." And then I added, "but if you need to ask you can ask, no problem. but I don't want you to ever have the question in your mind again."

She saw a stuffed toy shaped like a mini version of Bonnie, so she bought it on our way out of Jonathan's at 10:45pm, though I had thought it was 11:45pm. We got back to Our Spot in Yokohama and held hands talking for a few minutes until 0:00 and then I left.
