Yesterday Anna Bananna stopped by Ebisu for lunch with me on her way to do a bit of shopping before heading to Tohoku to volunteer before going back to her home away from her home away from home.

Super great to see her and her lovely smile! She's been in Okinawa and Hokkaido for some months during the winter; I really admire her traveling lifestyle.

Huge hugs at the beginning and end, with pizza and bread in the middle. Forgot to take a picture. :-(

Traveling by car in Japan often sucks. The running joke is that everyone tries to go to the same place at the same time. Today, everyone is headed to Ito.

We've been driving for 3.5 hours, and gone 60 miles. Here's a little hint of the traffic we've been in for a while.
