The light bulb way up on the ceiling burned out. It would take a long skinny ladder that can be placed on steps.. or a long reach by me standing on the wall at the top of our landing.

When Lin gets home she'll be all "what??? how did you do it????"

Thanks to Drian for helping me clean up some of the transitions and tying up some loose ends on my Pecha Kucha presentation. He helped connect the thread of marriage back to the main theme, and helped tighten up the ending so it would be more impactful.

five lessons

There's scaffolding all around the building where I taught five lessons this evening. After they were finished, I climbed on the scaffolding a little bit. I could have climbed up quite high, but chose not to for reasons of propriety. It was my first time to climb on scaffolding like this in Japan. Usually they close it off quite carefully.. but not in this case. (^_^)V

The students in the fourth lesson all cancelled so I did a language exchange with Tomomi.
