According to Underneath It All (NIN podcast) I should listen to the Phoenix 1991 Lollapalooza Nine Inch Nails show where something melted and killed their audio so they just destroyed equipment.

glass museum

Allow more time when going to the glass museum in Azumino. Or maybe just go early. We went around 10:45 and there was a queue for blowing glass until 1pm.

I did get to talk to a couple of guys down in the glass blowing room. Was soooo happy that they did not turn me away for being barefoot. I could easily imagine a rule, but apparently there was not. Anyway I had no problem with glass so it was fine. Anyway, I also had no time, so did not get to make a bottle or glass or anything. Not sure what I would have made. Probably a glass, since it would be most useful for me.

We just made some pottery with an chill old man sensei. I made a mobius strip for Fred, an upside-down plate for me, a dice shaker and two dice for my students.

According to the signs, we will have 2 hours worth of traffic to travel 17 kilometers. As I write this, we are still traveling 90 km/h, but we shall see.

I am using my phone to give my PC access to the web, but it isn't working, so I'll save this email here.

This URL describes the directory structure that I would like to backup.  https://helpwiki.evergreen.edu/wiki/index.php/Folder_Structure_-_Dragonframe

I am currently using rsync over ssh to save it to my server, but I am open to having it backed up to mutlple places.  I guess uploadcare uses its own filenames for each file that is uploaded.

My use case requires the filenames not change, so let me know if that is / is not possible with uploadcare.

We are on the way home now after having gone to a wasabi restaurant and museum next to a wasabi farm and a river of clear water. Actually two adjacent rivers, one of which seemed to be slightly higher than the other.
