Yay! Today was Yusuke's last day! Booo!! All the students seemed to enjoy the lesson! Yay!! permalinkhung out with lisa and jorge in yoyogi park 01:43 Wednesday 30 August 2017 JSTHung out with Lisa and Jorge in Yoyogi park tonight. Had invited some other people, but they weren't available for various reasons. Lisa arrived first and she and I chatted until Jorge arrived. Kinda like a life-sized ouija board, we found a perfect spot in the grass beyond the lakes. Sat and chatted for four hours! Such a nice evening getting to know them better. permalinkmt3 stuff 20:04 Wednesday 30 August 2017 JSTFirst step was to make a shelter to protect the project from my cat https://new.robnugen.com/journal/2017/05/30/finished-mt3-shelter/ I added lights, blue background which work well enough for my first project. Bought a pretty good camera and stand (because the stand I tried to make was too flimsy). Here is my current setup as of 30 August 2017: permalinkwalked 2 hours to yoyogi park 01:41 Wednesday 30 August 2017 JSTI walked for 2 hours from NB lesson to Yoyogi Park. I had 2 hours total and Google said it would take 1 hour and 45 minutes. I stopped once to get a snack and a drink (and to change from pants to shorts) and then stopped again to buy a 2 liter bottle of tea. Made it to Yoyogi Park with 2 minutes to spare. permalinkyikes stripes limited sleep coming right up 01:48 Wednesday 30 August 2017 JSTThe past few entries are dated some hours after they happened, but this one is being written in real time. I gotta wake up in 3 hours. shit shit shit. Fortunately, I can sleep for a bit on the train. Unfortunately, I can only sleep for 50 minutes on the train and it usually leaves me groggy. permalink |
