Last night I decided to look at using Godot to develop our next game. I downloaded and opened it up, but it could not open the list of templates.

Operating system or device, Godot version:

OS X 10.12.6, Godot v2.1.4.stable.official

Issue description:

Run Godot first time, the Project Manager window appears, but cannot connect to sample templates.

Can't connect to host: https://godotengine.org/asset-library/api

Looks like the same as #7545, but on OS X instead of Windows

Steps to reproduce:

Open Godot in OS X
Wait 30 seconds for it to load
Click Templates tab in Godot Engine - Project Manager window
Error message appears at the bottom

I just had a nap on the train while headed to Kawasaki. I'm barefoot on the train, with my computer in my lap. I will put on my shoes once I reach the building where the lesson is.

Good lesson today at TB; they had just redone the place so I got a grand tour of the show room. Midori talked to some clients while Tomoko gave me the tour. They didn't have anything to check yet, but I saw lots of word-for-word translations which we will have to clean up later.

They actually had to leave 10 minutes earlier than normal, so I headed out at 1:50pm.

I am at a hospital with Lin after a little fender bender involving a guy's shoulder hitting her mirror hard enough to cut her hand as the glass shattered into her open window.

The police officer came and suggested it will be easiest/cheapest overall if they don't sue each other and just do 50/50 blame and call it in to their respective insurance companies. Otherwise they will both lose their license etc etc.

Lin's fine, and the guy's apparently fine; goodness gracious I hope she starts being more careful.

They are asking how the API works. I explained it is like a web server which gives just data instead of data and HTML. They said they understand that, but how does it work?

I explained I have never touched the code of this particular API.

Listening to this now, I am thankful I don't generally have to sit through business meetings in Japanese.

I was told that they only had until 6pm, but the meeting is showing no signs of being finished.

The kids lessons were pretty good today. The two new students (one in each of my first two classes) are still not speaking, and I can't tell if they are acting shy or don't understand.. anytime they speak, they get the right answer, but getting them to speak is a stretch. esp with the other kids being so chatty. I ain't sure how to handle it.
