Playing the stupid paperclip game cost me $50. Okay, maybe I am stupid instead of the game, but due to its clever design, I waited to the last minute to get my train (for a substitute lesson in a location with which I am unfamiliar). My train ended up being late, I missed(*) my next connection, and the client said "screw it" and cancelled the lesson.

Now I am back home and dammit the paperclip game is still noxious.

I closed the tabs (had it running in FF and Chrome) and wonder where 40 minutes went.

jennie has a new door

Jennie has a pet door in our room now so she can go in and out. The door has a lock so that it can work both directions, neither direction, or this xor that direction.

The guy cut a hole in the glass and it was not like on Mission Impossible. He used a diamond tip to make a circle and then a smaller circle, and then a grid of cuts in the middle of the small circle, then tap tap tapped with a metal rod. It was nothing like silent spy stuff in the movies.

tracking every yen

For a couple weeks I tracked each yen spent, but I got behind yesterday and just cannot bear to catch up today. Blarg it's neverending and what is the value? To keep me from spending money because it's moe joe to track it?

Ironically, after I got paid I started to spend more, but mostly it was cause my phone died and I got behind.

Plus I have been tracking the yens in three (3) places, which is its own pain in the butt.
