students leveled up real quick

At my third of three kids classes here at JB, we had a new student, 4 or 5 years older than the others. The two previously-oldest girls in the class suddenly stopped messing around and tried significantly harder than usual. Such a nice change of pace! I used a technique I learned from Tariq: keep having them switch conversation partners and repeat the same conversation with a new partner. They gained confidence each time and it went quite well. (It helped that there were 4 students in class today whereas it had always been 3.)

仕事以外どこでも裸足で歩きます。時々誰かが「え、裸足？痛くないの？」その質問聞くと「時々痛いけどしょうがない。」この返事は大丈夫かどか分からない。

Outside work, I walk around barefoot. People sometimes ask if it hurts. I tell them it does sometimes, but it cannot be helped. I wonder if that response is okay.

今電車のりながら書いてます。南武線の始発に乗るから次の電車を待つと座れます。

I am writing while sitting on the train. I take Nambu line from its terminal, so if I wait for the next train, I can get a seat.

明日の朝スカイプで男のグループに会うけど、終わる予定時間の３０分前に切り上げないとダメです。

I have a men's group meeting on Skype tomorrow morning, but I have to quit 30 minutes before it will end.

次は武蔵溝ノ口ですけどまだうちの駅まで乗ってないと。今日は妻が車で迎えに来てくれますので家まで歩かないですみます。

The next station is Musashi Mizonokuchi, but I have to keep going. At our station, my wife will pick me up, so I can get home without walking.
