Nate asked if I can change the icon on the new site, and gave me a whole stack of icons for different Apple devices. I was like, "false" and just changed the existing ico file.

connect mouse events in godot

I have an Area2D in Godot, with its Pickable value set ON.

I added a _on_Area2D_mouse_enter function, but it does not get triggered when the mouse hovers over the Area2D.

Interestingly, adding a _on_Control_mouse_enter function does work.

BUT, my _on_Control_input_event function does not work.

Yay! I started a new Godot project, basing its core on https://github.com/RodZill4/godot_inventory.git Now I have functions which respond to mouse clicks and mouse entry/exit. Hopefully it will work the same with finger clicks, but I don't honestly know.

Next step is to add pieces to this version.

After working 3 hours (5 lessons) near Lazona, I'm eating cold lunch in Akihabara across the street from GG lesson. I have Lin's sister's heavy-as-hell suitcase. (Now I know why gorillas cannot break them)

Lesson was great; everyone was there! Yoko, Maki, and Atusko all brought sweets! Mayumi and Toshie both did homework!

jennie can go outside again

Jennie went to the doctor today who said her paw had recovered enough to let her go outside. So great! I didn't want to have to keep her inside for a week or whatever it was before. She's quite persistent in explaining where she'd rather be!

But to be clear, I have not confirmed the restore functionality!

I guess it would be

but are there keys required? Let's just check.

Does that work for you? It works for me! I don't remember how I set up boto-rsync, but it probably wasn't too hard.

I'm barefoot in a cafe in Haneda airport. It's super hot, so I plan not to wear shoes until January when we get back. We shall see how that goes!
