Entries this day: coding-in-the-mall fred-may-collaborate-on-godot godot-is-so-great in-airport-with-no-wifi-omg leaving-fortaleza-soon coding in the mall (transcribed while flying back to Haneda 20:08 Monday 01 January 2018 JST) 11:03am 24 Dec 2017I completed the removal part after swipe, but now plan to refactor code to let the pieces fall down by themselves. It's good that I put my PC away to come down and meet Lin; this way I can do the refactor on paper first instead of trying to wing it in code. But we were supposed to meet here at 11. It's now 11:07 and she's not here. I will worry at noon. 11:10She's back. 13:00Got magnetism working and pieces fall just fine. permalinkfred may collaborate on godot 14:09 Sunday 24 December 2017Conswi is my temporary name for this game we are working on. It's a fake name with Latin influence. Fred has a couple days off and we may work on it together (and play Minecraft). He has been teaching C++, so learning another language may be fun. I like working with my bro. permalinkgodot is so great 14:02 Sunday 24 December 2017Godot is super great for fast and easy development. I haven't gotten to the export stage yet, but hopefully that will be as easy. I was able to add a queue to display the upcoming pieces in about an hour, including distractions. https://github.com/thunderrabbit/robdot_conswi to see the latest. permalinkin airport with no wifi omg 09:02 Sunday 24 December 2017 -03Hafta give up phone number or Facebook credentials in order to get (free) wifi in Fortaleza airport, so I have no wifi now. Kinda stucks because I want to send an email to Fred and reply to Kai's email to me. permalinkleaving fortaleza soon 06:17 Sunday 24 December 2017 -03Leaving Fortaleza today (and my glasses, unless I happen to find them on last scan of the beach) 06:58 Sunday 24 December 2017 -03Didn't find my glasses during a quick walk along the beach near where I lost them. We did find breakfast buffet quite lovely, and I can make do with Lin's glasses. Headed to the airport now to fly to Presidente Prudente via Sao Paulo (to see our friends R&D). permalink |
