huh. index.md broke my website

Well, by the time you can read this online, it will be fixed (unless you are reading a git repo!), but at the moment, my journal (up to 11 Sep) and Blog (up to 29 Aug) are only online because my setup does not overwrite all the existing files after Hugo makes the site.

I guess I need to read the docs again.

Okay the best I have figured out so far is that if I put _index.md files in the subdirectories of my journal/yyyy/mm directories, those entries show up.

But it was working before without those _index.md files littered everywhere. What changed??

i performed stand up comedy

I went to a stand-up comedy open mic tonight and ended up doing a set (my first ever!)

Several jokes went well, a couple did not; one of those is not recoverable in any way I can think of.

Soness said it was really good that I used contents of the room for several of my bits.

Crud I am falling asleep here in a mildew-stricken cafe near the cigarette-smoked Infinity Books. I'll go upstairs and see if it is better and if I can snooze a bit.

Still not fixed my site indicies yet. blarg
