botanical gardens

We went to a cool garden area which used to be all clear cut for a settlement which got overgrown after it was abandoned. Then a couple cleaned it up and stuck a trail throught it. Lots of col plants, but how did they get permission to bring in plants from other countries?

We are parked outside the Federal Building in Hilo. Quite a nice old building, though it reminds me of a plantation.

goat therapy

I saw a few signs like "Play With Baby Goats" and "Goat Therapy" and "The Doctors are In"

We swooped right in there because I knew Lin would love it. The owner was quite nice as well.

We met Jana working at Low Store, which was apparently established in 1925.. They are coming up on their centenial!

Great laulau, ice cream, and chill vibes. We bought a babmboo wind chime as well.

We also went to a waterfall nearby
