Today I got my lungs x-rayed, my stomach etc x-rayed, blood test, pee test, poo test, all for 4100 yen.

It took two hours, most of which was spent waiting for my name to be called for each different station. Waiting wasn't all that fun, but good to get it all done.

They will mail results next week or so.

looking forward to first barefoot walkshop

This coming Saturday will be the first Barefoot Walkshop I do with Tokyo Sol. [1][2] Something like 10 people have said they will attend. Mostly my friends, plus a couple of people I haven't met yet!

lunch with tomoko

I just had lunch with Tomoko near her office near Sotetsu Line. I have not used this line many times. 星川 station is under construction and has temporary walkways kinda outside the station while they fix up the bit in the middle.

We sat outside in the shade, enjoying an apparently famous view of a shallow pool which she said is a fountain. We exchanged souvenirs from our respective trips and caught up on everything.
