badminton last night

After watching The Big Lebowski, I was just about to get to work when Tomoko asked if I planned to join badminton.

My reply:

 I did not know about it!
OMG

I flipped a coin which suggested I go, so I went! Great fun as always though this time we had only one net worth of court to play on. I'm not sure why were in the large room with bleachers instead of the large room with hoops.

The bleachers were closed so I climbed them a little. I didn't go all the way up over the fence though.

Chatted with Tomoko and her friend Mari who recognized me from before. I didn't recognize her because she had been wearing a mask then.

I told them about my plan to walk to Niigata in April and Mari said "exciting!" Most of the others were like wtf??

I just got on the train headed to Shinjuku on my way to Shinjuku Gyoen for today's walking meditation.

Thanks to Amaru for asking about sitting on the ground, so I brought ground tarps. And thanks to Lin for knowing where they were in the --house-- car!

Seven people said they will attend. Exciting!

finished first draft labeling meeting points

Excited about my planned walk, I stayed up and labeled the rough draft meeting points of the entire walk.

This was relatively easy using Plot A Route to join together all 50+ routes. One at a time I added a route then added an Annotation near its endpoint. The resulting map allows people to zoom and scroll over my entire planned route.

Hopefully this will allow for my friends (and new friends) to join portions of the walk!
