Entries this day: chill-day-today nearly-complete-with-my-route need-to-update-quill-and-micropub chill day today Today I had plans to sort out my taxes so I can take them tomorrow, but ended up taking a big ol' nap instead. I also considered doing some work for AB, but couldn't really get my brain in gear to do that. I am, however, on the train now headed to an event hosted by a friend of mine. Emico also does healing work and is doing something related to chakras tonight, so I was like "I'll have some of that!" My intention is that it helps me sort out my energy and priorities for tomorrow. oh, that reminds me, I also need to get a piece of glass out of my foot. Lin wasn't able to remove it because it's too deep I guess. permalinknearly complete with my route Although I haven't updated the route in a couple of days, it's all but complete on my localhost dev site. after plotting several relatively short days through the mountains I needed to catch up the mileage and ended up having to add an extra stop near the end because I ended up with a 30 km day after walking through the mountains. (Is that even a sentence?) I had to move back the last two reservations by one day each. The last one is Hotel Googoo, which I just had to use because of its funny name. permalinkneed to update quill and micropub At this point I can write journal entries with my quill and micropub setup. I want to be able to add entries that will show up on the top page of my website. For now, that means they have to show up in the /quests directory. I guess I will add a quest marker to quill and then hard code into Micropub the directory for my walk to Niigata. I feel a little bit ashamed by having to hard coat something but maybe I can work out a way that makes sense. Ugh Hard code, not coat. that brings up one more issue that I think is much much much much more critical. Currently quill has a bug that I think is related to it doing a count of the characters in the entry. It's got some JavaScript crap that doesn't allow me to edit text that is already been written. even if I place the cursor and the text that I want to edit the edits show up at the end of the text.
Fortunately, it's not really a simple case of programming, it's a simple case of ripping out some code so I hope it's super easy to fix it. If it wasn't already clear, I'm using voice transcription to write this entry. permalinkprev day next day |
